Meredith Eberle

Tasmanian Health Service

Meredith Eberle at Salamanca“I have been working in the Department of Critical Care Medicine (DCCM) at the Royal Hobart Hospital for 9 years and have been able to advance my career to the level of Clinical Nurse Specialist – Critical Care Liaison Nurse.”

Meredith completed a Master of Clinical Nursing last year through a nursing scholarship for post-graduate study. During her study, Meredith was supported by the Clinical Educators and Nurse Manager and was successful in maintaining a study-work-life balance.

Meredith speaks of the DCCM: “It is an inclusive and supportive unit to work in and has a great team environment. It is a level 6 tertiary referral centre so we care for a wide range of critically ill patients.”

“To balance out a demanding work environment, I try to make the most of the fantastic lifestyle on offer here in Tasmania, where you can go from the city to a beautiful beach or bush setting in less than 20 minutes.”
